Easter is one of our favorite holidays. We love everything about eggs, bunnies, candy, and of course Peeps! We have a whole series of Peeps STEM activities that we’ve done, and we love coming up with fun things to do with Peeps, like making Peeps playdough! When we saw these adorable Peeps bunny candy molds, I knew we had to try and make Peeps soap! We’ll be using our Peeps soap as Easter gifts for friends and family, and wouldn’t they make adorable party favors for an Easter or spring party? Making soap is a favorite Easter STEM activity!
Hands-On Activity for Kids: Handmade Peeps Soap
Try your hand at soap making in this super fun craft project for kids! It’s perfect for tweens to make and makes a super-cute non-candy Easter basket gift!
What you’ll need to make Peeps soap:
- Clear glycerin soap base
- Soap scent (we used cotton candy scent)
- Soap dye (food coloring will work, but it will leave a color residue when the soap gets wet)
- PEEPS bunny mold (it also has chicks, but we didn’t use those)
- Rubbing alcohol
- Spray bottle
