If you want to get seriously educational, download and print our printable with several cutting guides. Toddlers and preschoolers can practice cutting straight lines and two curvy lines which helps this particular easy toddler activity have a bit more educational value. Otherwise, let your toddler cut the paper however she/he likes.
Pro tip: We found that giving the small ones a whole piece of paper was much harder to cut. Try cutting your paper into smaller pieces to make it a bit more manageable for your tot.
