Our Camps and Activities
I thought it might be fun to have Monkey review the books that she has read. It’s not just fun, it also helps children ensure they comprehend the book and helps them learn to summarize ideas.
She isn’t reviewing all of them (mostly because I forget to ask her about them), but here is a snapshot into her mind. I wrote down word-for-word what she said about each book.
It’s funny listening to her dictate the review. She’ll look over my shoulder and say, “No, erase that part. I didn’t want to say that. I wanted to say this.”
Biscuit’s Day at the Farm:
What happened in the book? It was about Biscuit that has a little piglet friend. Biscuit finds this little piglet and it gets out of its pen three times.
