Santa Hat Craft: Make a Paper Plate Santa Face Mask!
This project is super easy and kids love disguising themselves as Santa. Monkey and Bo had a blast making and playing with this Santa mask. You don’t even need any special supplies, you likely have everything in your house already!
What you’ll need for the Santa Hat Craft:

Cut the center out of the paper plate.
Glue the cotton balls to the bottom of the paper plate rim to look like a beard. You can either just fill up the plate for a short beard, or connect the cotton balls below the plate with glue like we did. My kids liked the longer beard, but we did have to wait for it to completely dry before they could play with it.
While the beard dries, cut a hat shape out of the red cardstock paper. You can also use regular red paper for this step, but Santa’s hat will be floppy if you do.
Glue a line of cotton balls to the bottom of the hat and one to the top for Santa’s pom.
Glue the hat to the top of the mask and let dry (if you’re impatient, you can use hot glue instead of a glue stick for all steps).
Tape two craft sticks together to make one longer craft stick.
Tape the craft sticks to one side of the mask, leaving enough exposed on the end for the kids to hold on to like a masquerade mask.
When the glue is dry, the kids will have a blast pretending to be Santa!
