Number sequencing is an important skill for young kids to learn. Make it fun with this mountain-themed sequencing puzzle printable for early learners!
Mountains don’t seem terribly interesting as a topic for a unit study, but they can teach us so much! If you have little ones in the house, they will be delighted to try this fun mountian-themed number sequencing puzzle printable. Find out how to use this printable puzzle below!
Mountain-Themed Sequencing Puzzle Printable for Early Learners
Help your kids learn how to count from one to ten with this simple printable sequencing puzzle.
What you will need:
- Mountain puzzle printable
- Printer and color ink
- Laminator (optional, but helpful!)
- White card stock paper
Download the mountain sequencing puzzle. Print it onto card stock paper. Cut out the mountain and if you have a laminator, laminate it. This will make it last much longer and you can play with it over and over.
Cut apart the mountain picture along the dotted line. Let your little ones arrange the mountian picture in order. This will help them not only develop picture matching skills, but they will also learn about number sequencing at the same time!
Kids will love putting this puzzle together over and over.
Write the numbers on the back of each tab and see if your kids can put just the numbers in order after working the picture side of the puzzle a few times. You may be surprised how fast they pick up the correct sequence of numbers.
