Since before Bo was born, I wanted to have a circus birthday party theme for her 1st birthday. I’m not sure what made me like that theme, other than it looks fun, bright, and festive, but Monkey and I worked together to come up with some really fun things for Bo’s circus theme.
I’ve been creating my own graphcis on Pic Monkey all week, which is fun (but definitely distracting me from work), and we’re all set to transform our apartment into a circus wonderland. How much of these ideas will actually make it to party day, I’m not sure, but we’re having fun developing it anyway.
Creating a Kid’s Circus Birthday Party
We broke the whole party into separate sections to make it more fun and easier to read!
Here I share the activities and decorations we made for our circus birthday party. The kids had a lot of fun both creating this and playing in it.
Who doesn’t love magic? Monkey put on a magic show for everyone and it was quite a thrill!
I gave everyone these homemade animal cracker party favors, which were a breeze to make!
We kept the food on-theme as well. Anything you might find at a circus you found at our party.
Here I share how we made our popular Crepe paper circus party tent.. That was a huge hit at the party, and is one of the most popular posts here on Schooling a Monkey.
