When Bo turned one, we threw her a circus themed party. My DIY circus tent that I made for her is the most popular post here on Schooling a Monkey.
That tent and the rest of the circus party decorations took me about a week to make/build.
If you don’t have the time to hand create everything for your circus birthday, you may want to choose some of these easier, alternative circus party decorations instead.
You’ll have all of the fun with much less work! That’s a win-win in my book.
Circus Party Decorations
Parties are all about the decorations. See how we decorated our party here, or just click the links to purchase ready-made circus decorations.
Circus Party Activities
At our circus party, we had a magic show, fortune telling, face painting, a silly photo booth, and other fun circus games. Use these ideas to jump start the activities at your party.
For us, parties are all about the food. Use these fun items to make serving your food a blast!
Circus Birthday Favors
Every circus birthday needs a favor! We wanted to use animal cracker boxes for our favors, but couldn’t find them so we made these. Otherwise, one of these favor ideas will work!
Circus Cake Decorating
We made our own cake for Bo’s first birthday, which you can see here. Check out other decorating ideas below:
